Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or business related field preferred. Minimum of five years experience in Information Services with advanced level of knowledge in regards to the operations of hospital and clinical departments. Two years experience in designing, installing and maintaining database applications. Must be proficient in major application software packages including operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets and project management. Cerner experience preferred. Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate the activities of multiple project teams through all phases of project implementation including system design and development, product testing and end-user training activities. Assist team leaders with development of policy and procedures for ongoing system maintenance. The project manager is specifically responsible for project planning and date adherence, software release schedules, project organization and assignments, project communication, testing and installation. The project manager plans, monitors and manages the project completion process through the implementation phase. Develops and conducts educational training for staff. Coordinate vendor modification to hardware and software, perform system updates, test changes and educate staff. Assists with the selection, implementation and deployment of computer hardware and software applications. Provides assistance in budgeting and strategic planning to the IS Director. Coordinate and prepare monthly statistical and management reporting and prepare and maintain policy and procedure manuals.
