QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCE DETERMINATION: I. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. II. License/Certifications: MCSE, Citrix III. Experience: Five years experience in installation and repair of multiple types of computer equipment is required. Working knowledge of data center operations, including enterprise backup, and general infrastructure concerns. Thorough understanding of Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Active Directory, Windows 2000/2003, Exchange 2003, SMS, Sharepoint, DNS, WINS, Terminal Services, SQL and MOM. Working knowledge of other vendor technologies including Citrix, Pervasive, and Oracle. Demonstrated ability to document implemented solutions, as well as design and deliver training to end users. Five years experience as an MSCE or in a role equivalent to that of an MCSE. MAJOR FUNCTION: Provide operational and technical support to users of computer application software and the hospital's data communication, local area and wide area networks. Assist in the planning, design, evaluation, installation and maintenance of network software and hardware. Develop and conduct educational training for hospital staff. |
